For an artist, becoming part of this network means activating the principle of reciprocity, supporting others in research and production processes and being willing to share certain tasks related to the planning and organisational spheres. The Association is involved in the production of shows and educational activities and pursues a definition of contemporary circus that focuses on ARTISTIC RESEARCH, CONFRONTATION between artists and INTERDISCIPLINARITY.
A cornerstone of Cordata F.O.R.’s identity is the centrality of the NETWORK, which allows a flow, not only of creation and staging methods, but also of interests, objectives, reflections, tools and operational strategies to increase the quality of the work that reaches the stage. A process that is sometimes slow but virtuous, which on the one hand encourages the continuous exchange and knowledge growth, and on the other the sharing of social capital, human and economic resources.
The ability to represent innovative forms in the national circus scene is guaranteed by the presence in Cordata F.O.R. of artists with training and professional experience in Italy, Europe and North America and by the numerous and varied collaborations with different realities of the circus art scene in Italy and abroad
