7 dancers for a new online workshop of expressive dance, a playful way to introduce the qualities of movement and choreography starting from the gestures and characters of animal nature.

From an idea of Giovanna Milano a new online training project was born, aimed at children from 4 to 7 years old: Orme – danze selvatiche e domestiche (Orme – wild and domestic dances), supported by four synergic bodies: Associazione Zerogrammi, Associazione Kado compagnia tardito rendina, Associazione Sosta Palmizi, Associazione Fabbrica C / Cordata FOR.

Orme is an episodic journey composed of videos in which the protagonists are animals interpreted and narrated by the body, gestures, sounds, music and words of seven different dancers: Amina Amici, Piergiorgio Milano, Teresa Noronha Feio, Aldo Rendina, Federica Tardito, Cecilia Ventriglia and Simone Zambelli.

A project created to reach children in their homes, starting from the homes of the artists involved. A simple but engaging way to play with movement despite the distance, helped by the beauty and charm of the animals that inhabit our world, real natural dancing bodies.

Orme watches and discovers together with children the movement of animals, their dance as a place to unite imagination and body. Each video in the project is dedicated to a different animal (from the kangaroo to the sloth, from the frog to the deer) and is created by a different choreographer/dancer, introducing, in simple words, the movement/dance of each animal. Through these suggestions and the suggestions of the documentary images that are interspersed, children can learn and experiment, accompanied by an adult (parent/teacher), in their homes or schools, the multiple languages, qualities and meanings of the body and movement.
