About us
CORDATA F.O.R. contemporary circus network
Cordata F.O.R. was born in 2017 from the pioneering vision of bringing together different contemporary circus realities so as to create a network that aims to recognize the value of the circus arts in Italy and abroad
Fabbrica C e On Arts support cohesion, confrontation and contamination while respecting a shared ethics for freedom of artistic identity and research processes
The ability to represent innovative forms in the national circus scene is guaranteed by the presence of artists with training and professional experience in Italy, Europe and North America and by the numerous and varied collaborations with different realities of the circus art scene in Italy and abroad.
The union of so many different artists increases the opportunities of access to the national and international multidisciplinary fields and creates a precious baggage from which the members of this network can connect to, built upon the numerous performances, the participation in festivals and events and the collaborations with educational and artistic organisations of various kinds.
In this way, it supports the continuous development of CRITICAL THINKING within the contemporary circus arts, the constant updating on matters of techniques, skills and artistic tendencies, the enlargement of specific knowledges and contacts, the research and the innovation
The union of our two companies, until recently flanked by the Rasoterra company under the name Cordata F.O.R, has made it possible, since 2017, to access the Ministerial contribution. We saw this not as a goal but as a starting point, and we have created an organisational structure, a real contemporary circus office, which now enables us to support the work and productions of some of the companies that we value most.
If we look at Cordata F.O.R. today, it has already grown a lot compared to when we founded it. We hope that by surfing our website you will get a clear idea of what we are, knowing that it will not be exhaustive because by our nature, something is always in a state of becoming… We hope and we are working hard so that our structure can grow further and become a reference for the national scene
